Lactation Services

Angelica is now an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant.

She has begun formally providing lactation consultations within homes and virtually, but also provides lactation services outpatient locally. She also connects you to other local IBCLCs to meet your needs

​We now are partnered wtih TLN, The Lactation Network to serve families who have private health insurances. For those with private insurance, we can see you a minimum of 3 times to help support you and your infant! Reach out to us for the support you need, prenatally or postpartum!

Wanna work with us and you don't want a home visit? We can do a telehealth visit as well!

Things to Expect with a Lactation Consultation: 

• ​Weight check of your baby including pre and post weights to know how much milk your baby transferred in a feeding
• Evaluation of latch and suggestions to improve breastfeeding and remove as much discomfort as possible  
• Prenatal Education and Assessments 
• Breast assessment
• Infant oral assessment 

- A full care plan that can include:  

• strategies to resolve common challenges 
• engorgement 
• ​clogged ducts 
• low milk supply 
• oversupply 
• sore nipples 
• pumping plans for exclusive pumping  
• NICU Support and failure to thrive
• Moving away from Supplementation
• returning to work 
• weaning from a nipple shield, etc.
